The MSY Wind Spirit, operated by Windstar Cruises out of Seattle, Washington collided with a pier in Uturoa, French Polynesia over the weekend.
During the collision with the pier, the cruise ship rammed at least two other vessels that were anchored in the port – a yacht and a sailing catamaran – both of which sustained damages.
Reports state the MSY Wind Spirit experienced engine failure which led to the cruise ship accident.
No cruise passenger injuries were reported.
