According to a recent report from the Tampa Bay Times, a woman is suing Disney World regarding injuries sustained while the Jungle Cruise boat she was riding on was hit by another boat as they docked.
According to the injury lawsuit, the victim, Stacey Holdorff, of Valrico, Florida, alleges she was trying to disembark the Jungle Cruise ride on Jan. 8, 2012 when another boat that was full of passengers crashed into the back of her boat, causing her to be thrown backward.
Per the Tampa Bay Times…the suit seeks damages in excess of $15,000, but her attorney said treatment for her injuries will cost “hundreds of thousands of dollars.” A jury trial is sought. Read more here.
