Sadly…news outlets are reporting that an 8 year old girl fell within the atrium of the Carnival Cruise Ship Glory while passengers were set to disembark at Port Miami.
Apparently she fell while her family was waiting to use the elevator to leave the ship. A first responder at the scene attempted to resuscitate the girl and she was eventually taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. Miami-Dade police later notified the press of her death.
