Reports from CNN.com on Monday tell of a young female passenger who went overboard on Sunday, Sept. 16. This occurred aboard a Royal Caribbean International cruise line, the Allure of the Seas.
According to the article…
“…Coast Guard crews searched Monday for a cruise ship passenger who went overboard Sunday night about 47 miles east of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, officials said Monday.”
Allure of the Seas had set sail from Ft. Lauderdale to Nassau, Bahamas. The Royal Caribbean statements say the captain immediately turned the ship around to look for the overboard passenger. Two other cruise ships also joined the search prior to the Coast Guard arriving to take over the search.

“The site of the woman’s disappearance was marked by the ship’s GPS, and closed-circuit camera footage shows her going overboard, the cruise line added.”
In news since Monday, reports are now showing that the Coast Guard has stopped efforts to find the missing passenger.
