Two British Cruise Ship Passengers Killed During Excursion

According to news reports in The Star and The Mirror, two women traveling aboard a Fred Olsen Cruise Lines ship were killed after being struck by a vehicle. The two women, were apparently stepping off a tour bus into traffic when a driver hit them and another passenger. The third person hit, a man, is in stable condition.

Per The Mirror, “at the time of the accident, they were on a trip to Souq Al Haffa in Salalah. They have not been named. The incident happened at 11am on Thursday, September 27.”

According to The Star, “police said preliminary information suggested the driver did not have a license and deviated from their lane.”
