Sexual Abuse on Carnival Cruise Ship, Lawyers Needed

Joshua I. Morrison, 21, of Kenova, WV pleaded guilty Monday (July 16, 2018) to sexual abuse of a minor.

The incident occurred in a cruise ship bathroom on the Carnival Conquest  in January of 2016 as the vessel cruised the Bahamas.

Per a report by WOWKtv in West Virginia, “The United States Attorney’s office says Morrison admitted that the sexual abuse took place on board a cruise ship in international waters. They also say he admitted that he was 18-years-old at the time, the girl was 12-years-old at the time, and he knew she was 12-years-old at the time.”

Morrison will potentially face 15 years in prison. Sentencing is to be determined in federal court in Charleston, WV in October.
