A medical emergency required a passenger to be airlifted from a cruise ship in Mexico on Nov. 24.
The passenger, a 76 year old male, was traveling on Crystal Cruises’ Crystal Symphony. The captain, after learning the passenger was experiencing health issues, called for an medical airlift.
The evacuation took place near Punta Sur at Isla Mujeres, an island off the coast of Cancun Mexico. The passenger was taken to a medical facility in Cancun.
According to a report in Travel Pulse, “the man was admitted to a local hospital in Cancun suffering from internal bleeding. He is listed in stable condition.”
