While most cruise passengers are responsible in their consumption of wine, liquor and beer, increasing and unchecked consumption could lead to greater occurrences of:

  • slips, trips and falls
  • sexual harassment
  • alcohol poisoning
  • fights
  • underage drinking

The more alcohol available – and in greater quantity and ease of access – it sets the stage for potential harm.

As the cruise lines continue their search for more revenue streams, are they also potentially putting their passengers into negative situations? It’s a question with an answer that we may not learn for some time.
