Listing at 30 Degrees, Carnival Legend “Freaks Out” Passengers

The Times Colonist reports that the Carnival Legend cruise ship, cruising near Victoria, British Columbia listed near 30 degrees when one of its four engines failed on Sept. 5.

At the paper reports, passengers were “freaked out” and fearful of the ship capsizing or of passenger receiving injuries due to the aggressive leaning of the ship.
