A female passenger was eventually taken from a Carnival Cruise Ship after her injuries were such that she needed further medical help. The passenger fell down while cruising aboard the Carnival Fantasy that docked in Charleston, S.C. last week. Last evening (January 29, 2015) a woman traveling on the Norwegian Cruise Ship, Gem, was medevaced to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia.
