Passenger Medevaced
On, Saturday, September 26th, the U.S. Coast Guard took an 80-year-old passenger off the Carnival Pride cruise ship as it sailed off the coast of North Carolina. The first reports came in from WITN News in Eastern North Carolina.
Apparently, the Coast Guard received an emergency call from the Carnival Pride indicating that a female passenger was having health issues that needed more attention than could be provided on the cruise ship.
A helicopter crew medevaced the passenger, taking her to Carteret General Urgent Care in Morehead City.

In circumstances like the one above, there really is not enough information known about the incident on which to base an opinion. The initial report mentioned that the passenger was ‘sick’ and there was no mention of what the causes were.
